Ridge augmentation in dentistry has become a common need for patients seeking tooth replacement with dental implants. Guided Molecular Bone Regeneration (GMBR) was developed to guide and control the signaling molecules that are responsible for causing mesenchymal stem cells and their progeny to produce bone. Osseoconduct™ Cortical Plates™ function as synthetic cortical bone that isolates the graft site from the surrounding soft tissue and their signaling molecules. Osseoconduct™ granules are mixed with Ridge Graft™ and placed under the Cortical Plates™.
